With the aid of a hand-machine, which may he seen at work, costing £4O, a man and boy may easily earn £1 per day. The double-cylinder machine, for steam or water power, will produce three tons per week of most perfect fibre, equal to the hand-scraped fibre formerly supplied by the natives.
