Prices remain comparatively unaltered, and compare favorably with quotations in the other colonies in favor of buyers. In colonial produce there is equally little change. Bacon and hams are greatly overstocked and didicult of sale at 7d to 8d per lb ; butter, in little enquiry at 7(1 to 8U per lb in kegs, for prime cure; doubtful quality, diflicuf of sale at from 2d upwards ; cheese, overstocked, with Canterbury make at7d to 8d per lb; flour, unaltered from last week’s rates, with little doing except for current wants ; feeding grains in moderate enquiry, with no change in values. Mr. Alexander Saunders reports Sales : New Zealand Insurance, 90s ; Union Fire Insurance, 12s 6d; Loan and Mercantile, £5 5s ; Caledonian, 65s ; Moanatainri, £6 sa; Alburnia, £5 15s; Welcome, £6 os. Buyers : Bank of New Zealand. £22 ss. Sellers : National Bank, 70s; South British Insurance, 80s; Kuranui, 18s 6d; Piako, 14s Cd. (PER PRE Hii AGENCY.) AUCKLAND, Friday. Mr. Buckland reports fat cattle at lower values, 32s Gd per lOOlbs ; ewes and lambs, 14s to 23s 6d per couple. Fat sheep, steady inquiry, at last week's values, 4d to 4jd per lb. Lambs, 8s to 13s. CRHISTCfIURCn, Friday. The grain and produce trade is quiet. Good milling wheat is scarce ; sales made from 6s 6d to Cs 9d. Oats, 3s 6(1 ; barley, nominal; flour, £lO 10s to £l7 10s ; bran, scarce at £4 10s; sharps, £5 10h ; potatoes, 50a; hams and bacon, Bd.
