Ban 'atira got away for Napier with a full general cargo at 9 o’clock yesterday morning. The Stormbird left Wanganui at 12.30 p.m. on will sail again for Wanganui to-day. , Captain Doile, of the s.s, Stormbird, has intimated to the harbor authonties that when he was coming Into port on Saturday morning the brigantine Isabel!*, which was ly ng at anchor to the southward of the wharf, had no riding light up The Tanpo, fr m the- South, is expected to arrive liere to-morrow, and go North next day. Thes.s. Eingarooma arrived from her Nelson trip at 11,15 a:m. yesterday. She left there at 1.15 a.m. same day, and experienced light and variable winds and fine weather across. The Eingarooma will s*il for Melbourne, via the South, to-day. # The steamers which were detained in port on Friday got away on Saturday. The Luna left, at 10 o’clock in the morning, and the Tui and Jane Douglas for !Foxton, and Manawatu for Wanganui, all with full cargoes, left between 6 and 8 o'clock. The steamer Kiwi arrived in port from. the East Coast at C a.m. on Saturday. She left Napier at 3 p.m, on Thursday, and arrived at Castlepoint at 5.30 a.m. next day ; sailed again same day, and arrived here as above stated. The Kiwi will be laid up for a short time to receive an overhaul.
