Public Notices TO THE RATEPAYERS OP THE KAIWARRA LOCAL BOARD DISTRICT. Notice is hereby given, that in accordance with the Local Boards Act, 1873, an election will be held for the return of five qualified persons to serve as Commissioners for the -Kaiwarra Local Board District, and that the nomination of candidates will take place at the Schoolhouse, Kaiwarra, at noon on SATURDAY, the 6th OCTOBER, 1877. And that the Poll, if necessary, will be taken on MONDAY, the Bth OCTOBER, 1877, commencing at 9 a.m , and closing at 4 p.m. The following is the Polling place ;—Schoolhouse, Kaiwarra. (less the cost of this advertisement) to the Orphanage Fund of the Wellington Benevolent Society, unless such payment shall be objected to by the subscribers. A bonus of £2OO will be given for the best plan, and £IOO for the Lecoud best plan—both to be approved of by the Board, and the first to be adopted by the Government.
