AN EXTRAORDINARY GENERAL MEETING of the Shareholders of the above company will he held at the Chamber of Commerce, on TUESDAY, the 25th SEPTEMBER instant, at half-past seven o’clock in the evening, to consider the propriety of increasing the Capital of the company, and of making the following alterations in the Articles of Association and Rules;— Ist. That notwithstanding anything in the rules to the contrary, the Directors shall, if they think fit, have power to declare an interim dividend during the currency of any yeax - , without calling a meeting of the shareholders. 2nd. Clause 8a of the Articles of Association is hereby rescinded, and in lieu thereof it is provided as follows: —There shall be paid in respect of the transfer of any number of shares, not less than ten, the sum of Five Shillings (55.), and the fee to be paid on the transfer of any number of shares less than ten shall be Sixpence per share.
