This vessel is a Light Draught, Twin-screw Steamer, with a carrying capacity of about 400 tons. Length on deck, 150 feet. Breadth, 28 feet Depth of hold, 14 feet LE. THRELKELD has been favored with , instructions to submit for positive sale by auction, at the rooms, City Mart, Georgestreet, Sydney, on Thursday, 27th September, at 11 o'clock— The twin-screw steamer GRAFTON, now lying in WATERVIEW BAY, PORT JACKSON. She has just been ENTIRELY RECONSTRUCTED, and is now as good as new, with all modern improvements. The ENGINES are on the high pressure surface-condensing principle, with a nomina horse-power of 65. The FIRE-GRATE SURFACE is unusually large, also the condensing cooling surface. The condenser pumps are worked by separate engine. The CONSUMPTION OF COALS IS SMALL, the bunkers being estimated to carry coal for fifteen days. DECK ROOM FOR LIVE STOCK very spacious. PASSENGER ACCOMMODATION ineludes berth for 40 first-class and 36 steerage passengers. The GRAFTON is ready for immediate service, has good speed, which, combined with light draught, and small consumption of coal, makes her a very eligible vessel for coasting or intercolonial trade. Her working expenses will compare most favorably with any seagoing steamer on the coast.
