The breadstuff’s market la disorganised, holders being disinclined to give way ; Adelaide wheat is offered at 7s 4d; Barrett’s Twist, Is 4d ; Black Swan, Is 6d; sugar unchanged ; Belmont sp.rms, 9,|d. ' NEW PLYMOUTH, Saturday. At Courtney’s cattle sale tho bidding was spirited. Yearlings, £3 10s; eight months old’s, £3los to £4 2s; three-year-old’s, £4 10s to £5 17s 6d; tour-year-old’s, £6los to £7 7s 6d; store cows, £5 to £6; cows at calving, £B. CHRISTCHURCH, Saturday. Produce quotations are as follows: —Milling wheat is in short supply at 7s; second and third quality from 4s to 5s 6d; oats, 3s 6d. The market is firm owing to the drought in Australia. Barley is dull, and quotations are nominal. Cheese, 6£d; butter, 9d; potatoes, £210; hams and bacon, 8d; flour. £l7 to £lB ; stocks light, market firm: bran, £4 10s; sharps, £5 10s; beef, 32s 6d to 35s per lOOlbs ; mutton, 2Jd.
