GEORGE THOMAS will sell by auction, on Wednesday, sth September— The lighter Rambler, 120 tons burthen, as she now lies on Meech’s Patent Slip, where she can be examined by intending purchasers. The Auctioneer can recommend this vessel as a splendid ballast lighter. Sale at half-past 12 o’clock. Terms at sale. Messrs, bethune and hunter. will sell by public auction,_ at their saleroom, Custom House Quay, Wellington, on Monday, Bth October, 1877, at 2 o’clock—- • . Lot 1. That valuable Freehold Property at Rangitikei, known as Campion’s Run, and recently in the occupation of Richard Hammond, Esq., belonging to the representatives of the late Thomas Fraser, Esq., containing six thousand five hundred and eighty-three (6583) acres, more or less, situated on the West bank of the Rangitikei River, and within a distance of three Or four miles from the town of Bull. The greater part of the estate consists of rich, flat, and undulating land, which could be immensely improved by draining and other means, and rendered capable of carrying a great quantity of stock. There is an excellent dwelling-house on the property, two good cottages for the men employed on the station, and a large and nearly new_ building, formerly used as a Flax store, which might easily be converted into a capacious and convenient shearing shed. Custom House Quay, Wellington, on Monday, Bth October, 1877, at 2 o’clock — All that piece of Land numbered section 86 in the Government plan, containing 354 acres of land, more or less, (to be taken.as 354 acres) the property of the late Mr. John Fawcett Holgate, situated in the Rangitikei district; together with the buildings and improvements thereon, consisting of dwellinghouse built of wood and iron, containing six rooms with double brick chimney and verandah; shed, sheepyard, and stockyarcl. The greater portion of the land is enclosed with a furze and slab fence, divided into three paddocks, and laid down in English grasses.
