SEALED TENDERS will be received at the General "Post Office, Wellington, until NOON of SATURDAY, the 25th instant, for the performance of a FOUR-WEEKLY STEAM SERVICE between FIJI and PORT CHALMERS, by way of Auckland, Wellington, and Lyttelton, for a period of two years. . ' The Service shall be performed in accordance with a time-table to be furnished by the Postmaster-General, which will provide fov connecting at Auckland with the steamers of the San Francisco mail service. ■ The Service shall commence on the arrival of the San Francisco mail steamer at Auckland, due on or about the sth of October next.
