We have to draw the attention of shippers to the fact that the St Kilda sails to-day at 3 o’clock, not Wednesday, as advertised in last night's papers. The p.s. She left Greymouth at 4.30 p.m on Friday last; but as it was found she w: is making water, put into Westport, and ran her on the hard, where it was found that the starting of two bolts in her bottom had caused the leak. The Luna will go on the Slip before she leaves for the Coast again. The s.s. Kiwi left Napier on Saturday afternoon at 4 o'clock; called at Pourere, where a quantity of wool was shipped, and left again at 1 p.m. on Sunday. and experienced a heavy N.W. gale, rounding Caps Palliser at 4 o clock yesterday morning, and arriving here at 3 o’clock yesterday afternoon. Succeeded in getting outside the Heads, when she was muzzled by a heavy S.E gale, with heavy sea and thick weather, which compelled her to come back to port. Warnings were issued yesterday to expect strong - southerly gales, and at 8 o’clock last night the anticipatfcd “buster” came on at this port, accompanied with very heavy rain.
