WALTON AND CO. have JjL received instructions from the Minister of Public Works to sell by public auction, at the British Hotel, Lyttelton, on Friday, 3rd August, at 2 o'clock p.m.— Five very valuable sites for Railway Warehouses on NORWICH-QUAY, LYTTELTON, Nos. 1,2, 3, and 4, measure 107 ft. double frontage, by a depth of 60ft, each ; and No. 5, measuring 78ft. double frontage by a depth of 60ft., the whole having a frontage of 506 ft. to the principal street in Lyttelton, and the same to the railway. Provision is made for railway sidings and the use of trucks to each section. The term of lease is 21 years, at a moderate upset rental. The possession of one or more of these sites will give very superior advantages to grain and produce buyers and exporters, and as no other sites of the same character can possibly be let in Lyttelton, their great value is difficult to estimate.
