Casxlzpoint and Napier. —Kim. 21st. BY TELEGRAPH. AUCKLAND, Thursday. Arrived : Kenilworth, from Lyttelton. The Fairlie, a three-masted schooner, has put back. After starting for Grahamstown, she struck on a reef fit Waikeke passage, and remained fast there for twelve hours. A private inquiry into the case was lield before the Collector to-day, and a survey was ordered. The Mere, at Hokianga, has broken up, and the cargo is washing ashore. Specifications of repairs are wanted for the steamer Go-Ahead. Her show keel and garboard and third streaks, are damaged. The contract is expected to be about £I6OO. PORT CHALMERS, Thursday. Arrived- 'iaranaki, from Lyttelton. The barque Wennington is expected to sail for Newcastle this day. From Newcastle she goes to Batavia to load for Home. The ketch Falcon arrived from Blenheim yesterday afternoon. She left there on Tuesday, and was knocking about the Strait with light winds and calms. The Albion had not arrived from Nelson via the West Coast, up to the hour of our going to press this morning. She left Nelson at 2 p.m. yesterday. The s.s. Rotorua, from Sydney via Auckland and Napier, is expected to arrive here to morrow morning. She will go South at noon on Sunday. The Union Company's s.s. Taupo, Captain Carey, arrived in harbor from Southern ports yesterday. She left Port Chalmers at 1.30 p.m. on the 17th, arrived in Lyttelson at 8 a.m. on the 18th ; sailed again at 5 p.m., and arrived here at 10.15 a.m. yesterday. Had fine calm weather. The Taupo left at 5.15 p.m. yesterday for Auckland via the East Coast. The p.s. Luna sailed for Nelson and West Coast ports at 11 a.m. yesterday. The s.s. Wanaka arrived from Nelson and Picton at 5 a.m. yesterday. She left Nelson at 1.30 p.m. on the 18th, arrived at Picton at 9.30 p.m. ; sailed again at midnight, and arrived as above stated. The Wanaka steamed round to the Patent Slip shortly after arrival, where she will have the new blade fixed at her propeller. The s.s.’Murray sailed for Nelson and West Coast ports at noon yesterday. The Union Company’s s.s. Hawea arrived in port from the North yesterday. She left Onehunga at 1 p.m. on the 17th, and arrived at Taranaki at 7.30 a.m. on the 18th; sailed same day at 10 a.m,, and arrived in port at 4 a.m. yesterday. Had fine weather down. The Hawea went North again at 3.15 p.m. All the small vessels which have been retained in port during the past few days for want of a breeze, were enabled to take their departure with a light N.W. wind yesterday. According to Dunedin papers it has been decided to load the barquentine T2stella there for Wellington and Nelson. At the latter port she will load up for "Dunedin with the brig Albion's cargo, which consists of kauri timber. Monday's Otago Daily Times says Messrs. Dalgety, Nichols, and Co., have advices of the sailing of the barque Elsinore, from New York, on April 6. She is bound here, and has been at sea 101 days today. The Herbert Black was to have left New York for this port about June 1, with cargo for Dunedin and Wellington. The Silas Fish was on the berth at New York for this port, Lyttelton, and Wellington.
