DUNCAN has received instructions from the present lessee to sell by auction, at his rooms, Panama-street, on Wednesday, 25th July, at 12 o’clock— The lease of the Egmont Hotel, Hawera, having C-J years to run, with right to purchase at three months notice. The property adjoining the hotel comprises 3r. 3Cp., having a frontage to the two main streets of 158 links by 250 links. The hotel itself contains 11 bedrooms, 3 sitting-rooms, dining and billiardrooms, kitchen, cook's room, cellar, and bar, &c., &e. Also, adjoining the hotel, splendid stable with 8 stalls, 4 loose boxes, loft, harness room, &c. This house is the rendezvous for Cobb’s coaches running between New Plymouth and Wanganui. The stock and furniture to be taken at a valuation. The hotel occupies the beat site in the township, and as the Hawera township is fast assuming the lead amongst other towns in the Taranaki and Patoa Counties, an opportunity like the present is seldom offered to the public.
