[The fallowing telegram was received at the New Zealand Times Office at twenty-five minutes to three o’clock this morning.] SINGAFOBE, 10.4 a.m.
A Turkish despatch says the Russians were completely defeated on the 27th of June near Sukhum Kaleh.
In Europe the Russian head-quarters have been transferred to Sistova. The bombardment of Rustchuk continues. Several of the principal buildings have been destroyed. Decapolis {sic).
