The Directors of the Canterbury Spinning, Weaving, and Fibre Company (Limited), invite tenders for the purchase of the properties of the company as per the undermentioned particulars. The property consists of five (5) acres of freehold land situate on the River Cam, immediately adjoining the Borough of Kaiapoi, Canterbury, N.Z., and about otfe mile from the railway station, with manager's residence containing seven rooms, large shed, outbuilding.--, and garden. Talbot and McClatchie's stores. 20 Looms, 10ft. wide, five fitted with dropping boxes at each end for 3 shuttles ; 1 Set of Carding and Condensing Engines ; 1 .'air Self-acting Mules ; 1 Milling Machine. The above Machinery is similar to and by the same makers as that erected in the " Cam Mills," and has all necessary extras, &c, &c; 1 Improved Double-action Burring and Cleaning Machine, 50iu. wide, with extras, fitting, &c; 1 Horizontal Condensing Engine, Diam. Cylinder, 12m.; Stroke, 24in.; Air Pump, Gin. diam. x 24m. stroke ; Spoke, Fly Wheel, &c, All the necessary Shafting, Coupling, Driving Drums and Wheels, Wall Box and Plates, Hangers, Pedestals, Oil Cups, Conical Keys, Mortice and Mitre Wheels, Belting, &c, for the above machinery ; 1 Tun GALLirOLi Oil (8 barrels) ; 25 Gross Pirns, Press-papers, Sundries. The above will be sold as now lying in store, or put f.o.b. ship if desired. Lot 4. 2 Cornish Boilers, each 19.6 x 5.0, with fittings, mountings, &c, now being made by Mr. Jno.
