The Wild Wave, a very pretty little barque, arrived in harbor at 8 a.m. yesterday from Adelaide with a cago of flour, 1000 sacks of which is consigned to Messrs. Bannatyiie and Co,, the remainder coming to order. She has made a very good passage, considering the winds met with, of 11 days. Sho left Adelaide on the 22nd ultimo, and experienced strong southerly winds the whole way till Cape Farewell was sighted on Saturday last. Thence experienced light airs and calms, and had a tedious passage through the Strait. The Wild "Wave was berthed at the wharf In the afternoon. Thes.s. Kiwi came round from the Patent Slip under sail yesterday afternoon. Her departure for Castlepolnt and Napier has been further altered to . Friday, Jleasrs. McMeckan, Blackwood, and Co.'s s.s. Rlngarooma, Captain Whitburn, arrived from Melbourne via the South at 6.30 a.m. yesterday, with the Suez mall. She left Hobson's Bay at 1 p.m. on tho 2Sth ultimo, cleared the Heads at 5.55 p.m., passed Swan Island at 2.20 p.m. next day; had southerly winds and fine weather across ; passed the Solander at 8 p.m. on the Ist instant, and arrived at the Bluff an hour after midnight. Left Bluff same day at 2.30 p.m., and arrived at Port Chalmers on 3rd at daylight; left on the 4th at 3.30 p.m., and arrived at Lyttefton at 7.15 a.m. yesterday ; sailed at 3.30 p.m., and arrived in port at 0.30 on Tuesday morning. Experienced light and variable wlnd3 along the coast, 'i he Kingarooma galled for Nelson at 3 o'clock yesterday. The p.s. Manawatu. and s.s. Stormbird sailed for Wanganui yesterday afternoon. The barque Annie Melhuish had i& bring up in Worser Bay on Tuesday evening. Arrangements were made with the owners of the Manawatu for that steamer to give the barque a pluck out to sea, and at 2.30 p.m. tho Manawatu had her charge under way. The ketch Unity arrived in port yesterday from the East Coast after a rough trip. Hard gales of wind, ■with heavy sea,, have been experienced nearly the wholo time since she left here, and she was thereby unable to secure any cargo from the shore. The a.s, LadyWrd sailed for Northern porta at 12.30 p.m. yesterday. Tho ship Carnatic Is now rapidly taking In cargo, and is expected to complete her loading for London on Tuesday next. Tho barque Chaudierc was discharging the last of her coal from Newcastle yesterday. She has on board already a large quantity of tallow, and there are several hundred casks of it lying about the wharf awaiting shipment by hor for London.
