DUNCAN has bien favored with instructions from James Gilligan, Ksrj., of the Taueru, Wairarapa, to offer for sale by auction, at his salerooms in Wellington, on an early date, of which due notice will be given— A BLOCK OF LAND IN THE WAIEAEAPA DISTRICT, Distant about four miles from the flourishing township of Masterton, consisting of—--1000 acres really magnificent land, equal to any of the far-famed Waimnte Plains on the West Coast, being all of limestone formation, suitable either for market gardeners or small farmers. The property will be divided into about fifty allotments, containing twenty acres, more or less, each. This extremely desirable and valuable property is well known as the " Maungahina," aud comprises land that has been held in the hands of the natives from time immemorial, and has always been highly esteemed by the Maoris throughout the district as the best place for growing their food from year to year.
