Fifty creations have been made under the Order of St. Michael and St. George. The arrivals are the Orient and the Raugitikei. Bombay, June 3. It is reported that Russia is anxious to make peace after her first victory, in order to prevent European complications. In Frauce, Gambetta, in replying to an address, counselled moderation, and alluded to the contingency of Marshall MacMahon's resigning the Presidency of the Republic, in which case he approved of Thiers succeeding.
