DUNCAN baa been favored with instructions from his Worship the Mayor and City Council, to sell by public auction, at his salerooms, Panama-street, on Tuesday, sth Juue, commencing at 11.30 a.m.— The Town Belt Leases of the City of Wellington, for a term of 14 years, Comprising nearly 1000 acres, in 59 lots. Lithographed plans, containing full particulars of the area of each lot, and printed conditions of sale, may he had on application at the office of the auctioneer. The sale will commence punctually at 11.30 a.m. Purchasers are required to pay immediately on the fall of the hammer the first-half year’s rent in advance. The purchaser also to sign an agreement admitting that he has become the purchaser for the lot set opposite his name, at the yearly rental mentioned in the schedule attached to the conditions of sale. Each Lessee shall covenant not to assign, underlet, or part with the demised premises without the Lessors consent in writing. No buildings are to be erected on any part of the property. The Lessors reserve out of each lease a right to the inhabitants of the City to enter and walk through or over the demised land for the purpose of recreation ; but uo person exercising such right by reason of such reservation shall be freed from liability for wilful damage.
