The pan to be of wood or iron, round or oval, flat bottom (if of wood, must be hooped with strong iron bands), provided with removable lid, a perforated false bottom, also removable, to be inserted at a height of 4in. above the real bottom. Dimensions. The exterior of the pan or tub not to exceed 15in. in height, nor 15in. in diameter if round; if oval, the diameter to be larger. The approved pan to be the property of the Sanitary Committee.
