CRICKET AVERAGES.

TO THE EDITOR OP THE NEW ZEALAND TIMES. Sin,—l have been waiting patiently for the last two months to see the batting and bowling averages of our local cricket clubs for the past season published in your columns ; but my patience has not yet been rewarded. The cricketing season virtually closed in April, and I am at a loss to understand why the averages have not appeared. It is usual for secretaries to have them ready for publication immediately after the close of each season. The Dunedin and Canterbury, and I think Auckland clubs, have caused theirs to be issued some time ago, and it says very little for Wellington that the officers of her clubs should he so dilatory.—l am, &c.,

Tom Brown,

Wellington, 29th May.
