Business Notices jV/Tl. EDITOR.—Sin, —I feel slighted heJL cause I was not invited to the dinueion Saturday. lam a member of the Press—l often have to press off a lot of coats. I also write for the papers. My writing is not so amusing as some ; but it has the advantage of being always truth. It is true that my knowledge of the Tailoring trade is so extensive that it enables me to make a better suit of clothes for £4 10s. than can he done by any other Tailor in Wellington. It is true that Ido not advertise low prices to tempt customers in, and then ask more. I advertise the highest price, £4 10s., for the very best that can be made at any price ; but I can make excellent suits for £4, or £3, or less if required. It is quite true that there is no one yet in this colony who can compete with me in quality and price. It is also quite true that whatever a suit of clothes can be bought for ready-made, I can make a suit of a like quality at the same price to measure. J. QAUTION TO THE PUBLIC Since the introduction of UDOLPHO WOLFE'S SCHNAPPS it has become, through its wonderful medicinal merits, the most largely consumed spirit in this market, and it therefore is not surprising that it has been IMITATED AND COUNTERFEITED. Purchasers should use the greatest caution or they will have a SPURIOUS AND CHEAPER Article palmed off on them as the GENUINE SCHNAPPS. Some unprincipled people are retailing a compound of their own manufacture which they sell under the name of “WOLFE’S” SCHNAPPS. We therefore strongly advise purchasers to protect themselves, and buy only ORIGINAL UNOPENED BOTTLES OR CASES, And thus secure the full advantages of this EXTRAORDINARY MEDICAL BEVERAGE. Every genuine bottle bears a label with our name thereon. M. MOSS & CO., Sole Wholesale Agents for Australia and New Zealand, Sydney. Thefollowingletter has been received from "William Boards, Esq., an extensive agriculturist ami land agent, residing at Edmonton, Middlesex: “Nightingale Hall, Edmonton. “Dkau Sru, —I have recently suffered much from a most violent cough, proceeding from a tickling in my chest, which no remedy, out of many I resorted to, could allay. My head was constantly aching, and my whole frame entirely shaken. Having seen the good effects of your Balsam of Aniseed in several members of my family, I purchased a small bottle, and, when going to bed at night, look a teaspoonful in two tablespoonfuls of water, just warm. The effect was immediate: it arrested the tickling in my chest, I slept well, and arose perfectly restored in the morning, with the exception of debility, arising from fatigue by inc e A3int coughing for some days previous. My cough entirely loft me, and has never returned. Having since heard of a lady in the neighborhood who for a long time had labored under a most distressing cough, and who had resorted to every remedy within her knowledge, 1 sent the remainder of the bottle to her ; and that long-standing, obstinate, and (as she thought) incurable cough was perfectly cured.
