THE WHARF TENDERS.

TO THE EDITOR OP THE NEW ZEALAND TIMES. Sin,—ln reference to the wharf tenders, about which such a muddle has been made in the City Council, it occurs to me that if the members of the Builders and Contractors’ Association, who are practical business men, would call a meeting at once, and say to whom the tender should in their opinion be given, it might assist the Council in arriving at a sensible conclusion on the matter. Hoping that this will be done.—l am, &c., A Practical Man. Wellington, May 22.
