Saturday. Arrived : Fernglen, ship, in tow of the tug Koputai, from Bluff. Sailed : Albion Company's ship Oamaru, for London. She takes thirty-nine passengers. Her cargo consists of 2943 bales wool, 4235 bags wheat, 1029 cases meats, 97 casks tallow, 13 bales wool, (• cases sundries, 46 boxes gold, valued at £104,037. —Taupo. The following, received per San FranciscS mail, has been telegraphed from Auckland: —Sailed from Gravesend for Wellington March 26, Robina Dunlop ; on April 2. Broomhall. To sail for Wellington on April 10, City of Madras; on April 29, Glenlyon. The p.s. -Manawatu arrived from Wanganui at 2 p.m, yesterday, after a run of 11 hours from the bar. Experienced fresh fair winds throughout. She brought 120 sheep for Mr. Gear. The Manawatu is advertised to sail for Wanganui at noon to-day. The s.s. Taupo, from the South, is expected to -arrive here to-morrovr morning. The steamers Tui, for Kalkoura and Lyttelton, Luna, for Westport and Oreymouth, Napier, for Foxton, and Murray, for Nelson, Westport, Greymouth, and Hokitika sailed on Saturday evening. The Union Co.'s s.s. Wanaka. Captain McGillivray, arrived in harbor from her Northern trip via the East Coast yesterday. She sailed from Auckland on the 16th at 5 p.m., and arrived at Tauranga at 7,17 a.m. on the 17th: left at 9 o'clock that morning, and reached Poverty Bay at 0 a.®, on the 18th , stayed there 12 hours, and then pushed on for Napier, which was made at 4 o’clock on the morning of the 19th. Left at 1.30 p.m. same day, and arrived in harbor at R3O a.m. yesterday. Light southerly winds, with fine weather, prevailed throughout. The Wanaka will sail for Lyttelton and Port Chalmers this afternoon. The steamship Tararua will, it is expected, sail from L.yttelton this afternoon, and arrive here to-morrow morning. - She is from Melbourne and Hoharton. The Union Company’s old s.a. Phmbc, under the command of Captain A. Kennedy, arrived in harbor from the South yesterday. She has been laid up in Port Chalmers for some considerable time, owing to her unfitness for the coastal trade, and she now goes to Sydney to find a purchaser. She left Port Chalmers at 11.20 p.m. on Wednesday Last, and had fine weather to Lyttelton, which was reached at 7-20 p.rn. on Thursday ; sailed at L3O p.m. on Saturday, cleared the heads at 2.20 p.m., and had to contend against a strong N.E. gale up, making the passage in 24 hours. The X'hccbe will sail for Sydney direct to-day. The s.s. Stormbird arrived from Wanganui at 2 a.m. on Saturday, and sailed again for the same place •at 10 a,m. yesterday. The s.s. Eashy, Captain Anderson arrived in harbor from Sydney at noon yesterday. She left Sydney at 10 a.m. on the 13th, after having been detained there for 20 hours by a heavy S.E. gale, and experienced strong S.E. winds and very heavy head sea until the 16th: thence strong E.N.E. and N.K. winds witli rain, and made Cape Farewell on the 10th. Had denco rain witli very tkic k weather through the Strait, and was obliged to bo hovc-to for 8 hours at daylight yesterday. Kapiti was made, and rounded Terawiti at 10 a.m., arriving as above. We have to thank the captain for files and report. The Easby will sail for Lyttelton and Port Chalmers a 2t o’clock this afternoon.
