Manawatugot away for Wanganui at 7 o'clock yesterday morning. The barque Andrew lieid has been berthed at the wharf. She will, it is expected, commence discharging her cargo this morning. The s.s. Hinemoa will be taken up on the Patent Slip this morning to be cleaned, and also to have a new blade shipped on the propeller, in lieu of the one lost on the West Coast by touching on an unlacwTitock ! lue barquesNouvcau St. Michel and Vindexaro now In harbor awaiting the first favorable wind to sail for their respective destinations. The steamer Phoebe will arrive in port from the South on Saturday. She has been placed in the Sydney trade, and is, we understand, in command of Captain A. Kennedy, formerly of the s.s. F.asby. The steamer Kiwi left Cow Bay yesterday for the "TEast Coast. The brig Jane has cleared at the Customs for Lyttelton, with part of original cargo from Hobarton. The Luna's departure for Greymoutli and Wcstport has been postponed till 0 o'clock on Saturday evening, in consequence of some necessary repairs being effected to her. ~,,,, The ship Ben Ledi sailed up to tho wharf yesterday, As she passed round to the southern side of the wharf, for the purpose of anchoring opposite her berth, it was seen that she had considerable way on. The yards were thrown aback, and the anchor dropped to check her, but too late, and she went aground lightly opposite the Star Club loatingsheds. It was nearly low tideat the time, and as soon as tho tide had made a little she was floated off at 4.30 p m., and berthed at the wharf shortly afterwards. The s.s. Stormbird sailed for Wanganui at C p.m. yesterday. A large number of small craft which have been waiting in port for several days for the abatement of the southerly gale were expected to sail this morning. We understand that some of the vessels in Worser Oiay commenced to beat out yesterday, and a few had succeeded in clearing the Heads at dusk. The ketch Falcon and the cutter Dido arrived from Ulenhsim yesterday evening. They both crossed the "Wairau bar yesterday morning, and came across with a very light S.E. wind. The steamers Tui and Napier sailed for Foxton yesterday evening, the former at U o'clock, and t;.e latter at 7 o'clock.
