THE CADET CHAMPIONSHIP OF NEW ZEALAND.
The cadet championship of New Zealand is at length decided, the last report having just come to hand. The cadet championship of the colony again falls to Waiuku, as also two of the four prizes, Cabet Mowbray being the champion of 1877, while Cadet Currie, who takes fourth place this year, was champion in 18/6. Wellington takes second place. The prizes are as follows :—lst, Mowbray, Waiuku, champion belt and £6 ; 2nd, Hale, Wellington, £5 ; 3rd, Ansell, Auckland, £3 ; 4th, Currie, Waiuku, £2. The following were the highest scorers, ties hftinrr decided hv bent score at longest rancret—
