(REUTER’S SPECIAL TO PRESS AGENCY.) London, April 30. The Turks have commenced bombarding Poti Anacria and Galatz. The Russian troops have occupied Ismail, on the north bank of the Kilia. The Porte refuses to recognise German protection of Russian subjects. The European Powers rejected the Porte’s proposal for mediation. Italy remains neutral. Sydney, Tuesday. There has been a heavy gale, with rain, during the pas two days. A flood is expected in the Windsor District. The Wakatip sails to-morrow. The Ringarooma has sailed from Melbourne.
