CRICKET.

A match was played on the Basin Reserve between the officers of the banks, the Bank of New Zealand, the Union Bank, and the Bank of New South Wales playing the Colonial, National, and the Australasia. The teams were captained by Cook and Baldwin. The match resulted in a victory of the former by 27 runs. In the first innings the highest score was made by Cooke 18; and Norman, on behalf of his side, made 9.
