DUNCAN has been favored with instructions from the Trustees of the Wellington Hospital to offer for public competition, on the above date— The leases of about TWELVE Sections of Laud, containing about eighteen acres, more or less, for a term of twenty-one years, renewable for a further term of twenty-one years at an advance of 50 per cent. Each section will have a frontage to a formed metalled road, and every lot will be found suitable for the erection of first-class villa residences. The land is at the rear of Wellington-ter-race, adjoining the grounds of the Botanical Gardens, and it is therefore unnecessary to add, possesses a truly magnificent view of the harbor, and of nearly every part of the city. WEDNESDAY, 25th APRIL, ’ At II a.m. El OUTLEDGE, KENNEDY, & CO. are Li instructed by J. W. Witty, Esq. (who purposes residing on his property at Wairoa) to sell by public auction on the premises— His dwelling-house and grounds, Light-house-road, Napier. The situation commands one of the moat charming views on Scinde Island. The grounds (about acres), have been laid out with taste and care, and at considerable cost, they are planted with the choicest fruit and ornamental trees and shrubs, all well established in growth. The grounds have also the advantage of a complete system of surface drainage, and are supplied with tanks for the conservation of water. The whole being enclosed by a 7ft. galvanised iron fence. The house is quite now, and is built of the best materials; it covers uu area of 76ft. by 51ft., and contains 10 rooms on. the gruuudtloor, viz., drawing-room, 21ft. x 15ft.; parlor, 20ft. x I6ft.; bedroom, Itlft. bin. x lift., 2in. high; dining-room, library, bedrooms, nursery, and kitchen; in addition to two conservatories, scullery, bathrooms, and closets. The partitions and walls throughout arc filled in with concrete. There is one underground concrete tank, containing 2500 gallons of water, and 4 galvanised iron tanks holding 4500 gallons, with force-pump and piping, capable of conveying water to all parts of the building. In short, the house has been fitted at great expense with every regard to comfort and convenience. A portion of the purchase money may remain on mortgage at a moderate rate of interest.
