THE Plant comprises capital portable engine (by Roby), circular and vertical sawing machinery, trucks, punt, blacksmith’s forge and tools, together with all necessary gear, the whole in excellent working order, and can be started at an hour’s notice. Fourteen first-class working bullocks, yokes, bows, chains, bush tackle, &c. Good deep-water wharf for shipping the timber. The mill, workmen’s huts, and store are built on a Government reserve for right-of-way, no rent payable. There is sufficient timber (rimu) close to the mill to keep it supplied for twelve years. Arrangements can be entered into for cutting this at the usual rates. The above will be sold at Picton, by public auction, under a bill of sale, on Saturday, 14th April. Terms easy.
