THE SYDNEY EXHIBITION. Sidney, Tuesday. The weather is fine. The Exhibition was opened at noon by Governor Robinson. It was a brief formality. The members of the Government, the Corporation, leading citizens, and a large concourse of people were present. Owing to the live stock show being deferred till the 17th, and extensive machinery being in a state of unpreparedness, the Exhibition presented an unfinished appearance outside. The Canadian and American courts are not yet ready. The main buildings, however, are in order, and presented an interesting spectacle. The pastoral, mining, and agricultural im dustries are well represented. The Fine Arts are poor, and the sections representing minor industries are well filled. Mr. W. H. Watt, of Wanganui, is highly commended for his wool exhibit. Two other exhibits of wool, of a different class, by the same exhibitor, are also highly commended.
