Auctions TUESDAY, 27th MARCH. GEORGE THOMAS has received instructions from the City Council to offer for sale by auction, at his rooms, Lambton-quay, Wellington, on Tuesday, the 27th day of March instant, at 2 o’clock, leases for terms of twenty-one years, from the Ist of April next, of the Market Hall and five other lots of the Market Hall Reserve, of which the following are the particulars — Lot 1. An allotment of land, having a frontage to Cuba-atreet of thirty-two feet, and to Taranaki-place of thirtyeight feet eight inches, and extending back from Cuba-atreet at right angles fifty-eight feet eight inches. Lot 2. An allotment of land having a frontage to Taranaki-place of thirty feet, and extending back therefrom at right angles fifty-eight feet, the frontage on Taranaki-place commencing at a point measured fifty-eight feet eight inches from the eastern side of Cuba-street. Lot 3. An allotment of land, having a frontage to Taranaki-place of thirty feet, and extending back therefrom at right angles fifty-eight feet, and lying to eastward of Lot 2. Lot 4. An allotment of land, having a frontage to Manners-street of thirty feet nine inches, and extending back therefrom in lines which form direct continuation of the eastern and western boundaries of Lot 3, the eastern boundary being fifty-four feet six inches, and the western sixty-one feet ten inches. Lot 5. An allotment of land, having a frontage to Taranaki-place of forty-seven feet, commencing at a point measured one hundred and fifty-six feet six inches from the eastern boundary of Lot 3, and extending from thence for forty-seven feet eastward along Taranaki-place, thence at right angles to Manners-street fifty-two feet six inches, thence for twentysix feet ten inches westward along Manners-street, thence by a slanting line southerly fifty-one feet six inches to a point on a line at right angles to Taranaki-place, and measured eleven feet ten inches from the commencing point.
