LEONARDS ESTATE, in the Amuri District, Province of Nelson, adjoining the Province of Canterbury, containing .100,000 acres freehold, in one compact block, nearly square ; together with'abont 80,000 sheep 40 head cattle 70 horses ' | The property will be sold as a whole, or exit up inte blocks of various sizes, the largest about 40,000 acres, with proportion of stock to each. About 40,000 acres are fit for agriculture, the remainder being hills and beautiful downs, not surpassed in New Zealand for pastoral purposes, and well watered ; the whole forming one of the grandest estates south of the .Line. All feuces, buildings, and other improvements are in first-class order, and only three shepherds are required, excepting when the sheep are being mustered. The sheep are chiefly merinos, which have been carefully ; bred and culled for the last fourteen years. I The situation of this estate is peculiarly favorable, being enly about thirty miles distant from the present temporary terminus of the main trunk railway through the island, and the continuation of the line must either pass through or very close to the property. The climate ef the Nelson Province is considered the finest in the Australasian colonies, and the Amuri District is famed for producing the choicest wool in New Zealand. ; - : i The sole reason for disposing of the property is the approaching dissolution of partnership of the present owners.
