We call attention to the sports to be held on the Basin Reserve to-day under the patronage of the Hibernian Benefit, Society and : Catholic Young Men’s Society. A very teinpting programme has been prepared, and the prizes to be competed for are rich, espepecially the beautiful cup which is the prize for the St. Patrick’s Handicap. The entries are numerous for most events we believe, and it the day be fine there is sure to be a larjje attendance, especially as it is announced that the profits are to be devoted to a charitable purpose. - .
