Rotorua, Captain Macfarlane, left Fort Chalmers on the Bth at 4.15 p.m,. and arrived at Lyttelton at 9 a.m.: sailed the next day at 10,40 p.m., and arrived'here at 3 p.m on Saturday. Head winds and hazy weather from Otago U Canterbury were experienced: thence to arrival light head winds and fine weather. The Rotorua left at 8 p.m. on Saturday for Sydney via the North. The s.s. Ringarooma, with the Suez mall on board, arrived at the Bluff yesterday from Melbourne. She Will reach this port oh Wednesday morning. From a telegram received from the Press Agency wa learn that the ship Rangitikei, one of the N.Z. Op.’a vessels, cleared at the Customs, Lyttelton, for London, on Saturday, and sailed on Sunday with 79 passengers and a large cargo of wool, gold, &c., valued at £122,000. - The s.s. Kiwi left Napier at 2 p.m. on Friday last; arrived at Wateranga at 1 p.m. on Saturday ; discharged cargo; took on board forty-four bales wool, 813 lioles skins, and left at 2.30 a.m. yesterday, arriv- : inghereat 2p. u. ..The. Kiwi .brings 390 bales woel, and will sail for the East Coast to-day. From the telegrams above it will be seen that the ships Carnatic and Rangitikei, from Lyttelton, sailed on Saturday and Sunday respectively, and the Otakl left Port Chalmers yesterday The ships Avalanche and Ocean . Kail will sail probably to-day from this port, and if they do so, tall the vessels will have an excellent -start.
