Negotiations have been entered into and completed for the purchase of a freehold in Manners-street, having ample frontage aud depth. On this splendid central site it is vestibule, and shops, at a cost of, £6OOO. This outlay,; added to' the cost of land, may be thought" large ; but it can ■ be. shown that it will prove a highly. irenvunerative investment, besides the freehold having, the advantage of that growth in value which is inevitable in all the leading thoroughfares of the city. It is intended that the calls shall not exceed 10s. per share per month, but: arrangements will be made to prevent this easy rate of payment in any way interfering with the most rapid prosecution of the works.
