steamer’s machinery being in motion at the time it fouled the propeller and wound round the snail. One of the crew went down and succeeded in cutting a considerable portion of it off; but the rope had got in between the shaft and the ruddcrpqst, and• were employed all this morning in getting it on. Xiie Tui was expected to make another start at G o ciock this morning. .
