The barque beat inside the Heads yesterday afternoon, and came to an anchorage; In all probability she will come into port this morning. - The Newcastle trader, the brig Neptune, arrived in harbor at 2 o'elockyesterday afternoon, after a smart passage of,nine days, having experienced northerly winds throughout.- On bringing up in the harbor the anchor by some' mismanagement, got foul and could not be let go. The consequence was that she ran in. past the outer T of the wharf to windward, > and being caughlt In a line stretched from the cable Bteamer Agnea to a buoy, was brought sharp up. The anchor was then'let go, but before it could get a hold the vessel drifted down on to the bows of the Tararua, and carried away a portion of her own gear and damaged the bulwarks. The steamer sustained no iijuxy, but heir jibbooni had to be taken in before the brig could be hauled clear. The ship Rakaia, was outside the Heads yesterday, from London." Grant, who at one time ably filled a similar office on boardj the Stormbird, and who has also held the same position In the Waitaki.
