CRICKET.
PAHAUTANUI V. HOROKIWI. • A cricket match was played at Pahautanui on Saturday last between an eleven of the Horokiwi and an eleven of the Pahautanui Small Farms cricket clubs. These clubs have been lately formed, and the players on both sides were principally young beginners at the game. Some of them shaped very well for it, and with practice will no doubt in due time become good players. The game was well contested, and resulted in a victory for the Horokiwi team by four runs.
