The event took j place :; aboutV fortnight ago, at an early hour in the morning, while Captain Sellars was in bed. ■ The. attack resulted fatally in about live minutes. I have not learned its nature, but doubtless it was an attack of heart disease, for Captain. Sellers was at the time in the apparen’ enjoyment of his usual good health,-save a swelled tendon on one of his legs. He made one voyage to Otago about a dozen years ago, in command of thaCity of Dunedin;-arid was'then appointed to the post which he so efficiently filled up to the time of his death; He will'be'remembered by great numbers of persons who emigrated from the Clyde to Otago, as he was in the haint of going with-every-ship as far as it was towed out.' .In cpnnection, with the Albion Shipping Com- • pany L may’ also mention , that I believe it intends vCryjMon'tb 1 largely’exteiid'its trading operations with New Zealand, and with that purpose its capital will be increased from£3oo,ooo to £1,000,000. On its enlarged basis* the; company will send i ships .from London or Gla’sgbw to all the principal ports of New Zealand, and I believe that some arrangement with Shaw,- SaVill, and Co. to facilitate this has been, or is about-ttr be; entered Into.” ”. —’ ' ' ’ "
