'A meeting of the Wellington cricketers was held on the cricket ground yesterday afternoon, to make final arrangements for the match with the : All, England Eleven to be played to-day. Mr. Mace was chosen as captain, and Mr. Knapp as sub-captain. Messrs. Dixon and Buckland kindly, consented to decide who was" the best fielder in the Star Club, as Mr. Bromley .had declined to do so, as he considered that it would interfere with his duties as umpire. Full information as to the time pf opening gates, and prices, &c., will .be found ip the advertisement. The Artillery Band will enliven the proceedings by performing a choice selection of airs, and only fine weather is required to make the match a success. •
