TO THE’EDITOR OP THE NEW ZEALAND TIMES. Sir, —Allow me to correct’ a misstatement. Dr. Bradford states in!his letter oI ito 29th that I had reduced , the morphia Dr Hector’s analysis one?half/ If • pr. Bradford will kindly read my letter again, he .will see
that- X say “a’ smaller quantity of morphia than,, one-twelfth of a grain to" one bunco,” while Dr. ‘Hegtor’s statement is “ less than one-sixth of. a to two Jounces,’’ which is not'far different. ... , r ■ .With -regard ,to Dr. Bradford's .implication that I am ignorant of the, “ Pharmaceutical dofirhal,”- comparison of dates will show the probability-that the scare jn our Home trade journals then was the cause of the analysis of the syrup here. —I am, &e., Druggist. ‘ [The correspondence must now close.—Ed.
