It is hardly necessary for the Auctioneer to intimate that an opportunity like this for making purchases of good, new, and valuable stock of various sorts, has not occurred for a very long period of time, and that the sale is without reserve, so that it is everyone's interest to attend, as no lot will be withdrawn. Brogden and Son, to offer for sale by public auction, at bis new auction rooms, Panama-street, on Tuesday, 16th inst., at 2 o'clock— The remarkably line schooner Clio The Clio was built in Auckland in 1871, of the very best material, is 81 tons register, with centre-board, is a good model, light draught, say 7ft. 6in. when deeply • laden. Sails fast, and carries about 65,000 ft. of sawn timber (kauri), or about 120 tons dead weight ing and running rigging is kept in good order. Some of the sails are new, all in. good repair; has been recently refitted, and is now in firstclass order. She is fitted with bow ports for taking in extra long lengths of timber.
