Brogden and Son, to offer for sale by public auction, at his new auction rooms, Panama-street, on Tuesday, 16th inst., at 2 o’clock— The remarkably fine schooner Clio The Clio was built in Auckland in 1871, of the very best material, is 81 tons register, with centre-board, is a goad model, light draught, say 7ft. 6in. when deeply laden. Sails fast, and carries about 65,000 ft. of sawn timber (kauri), or about 120 tons dead weight; standing and running rigging is kept in good order. Some of the sails are new, all in good repair; has been recently refitted, and is now in firstclass order. She is fitted with bow ports for taking in extra long lengths of timber.
