A DISCLAIMER.
TO THE EDITOR OP THE NEW ZEALAND TIMES. Sib, —My attention has been called to the report of Tuesday night's meting, where I was made to say, among otherthings—“ And wharf accommodation. Who ever heard of such a miserable project as more wharf accommodation?” Permit me to say I never made use of any such words having reference to wharf accommodation, knowing well, as I do, that the wharf is not half large enough. By inserting this you will oblige yours &c.,, G. Anderson. [We are sorry Mr. Anderson’s views were not correctly represented, but for that he has himself to blame. Certainly he made use of ' the remark with which he was credited.—Ed. ' N. Z. Times.]
