To be rowed by men who have never pulled - in a public race; must be maidens on day cf regatta. Maiden Pair-oar Inrigged Gig Race.— Distance, two miles ; straight course. To be rowed by men who have never pulled in a public race; must be maidens on day of regatta. These last two events, should time not permit their being rowed on the regatta day, will take place during the same week. In addition to the trophies, money prizes will be given in each race, and where no second prize is given, the second boat will save its entrance, provided more than two boats start. Full particulars of entrance fees, &c., &c., will appear in a future advertisement. Rules and plans of the various courses can be obtained from the undersigned on and after Thursday, the 11th inst.
