The s a Alurrav ; arrived at the wharf yesterday from Nelson at 2.16 p.m She left there at 7oi clock the previous evening, and called in at 4 a.m. at Endeavor Inlet, Queen Charlotte Sound, where she landed seven miners to he employed m working the antimony mines there ; left at 7 a m., and arnrad here as above. Had fine weather with light winds. The Murray brings a cargo of wool and fruit. She wi'l return to Nelson and the AVest Coast to-day. The cable steamer Agnes came alongside the Queen’s wharf yesterday afternoon for the purpose of taking inja supply of fresh water. • The s.s. Stormbird and p.s. Manawatu sailed for Wanganui at 7 o’clock last evening. The ketch Jane Elkin left the breastwork for Pelorus Sound yesterday evening at 6 o’clock. The s.s Napier arrived from Foxton yesterday at 2 a.m. She left there at 1 p.m;. the previous day, and had fine weather down. She will sail this afternoon is announced to sail for Napier and Poverty Bay on Monday next. . . _ , . The New. Zealand Shipping Co, s Ocean Mail is turning out her cargo In good order. She will go from this port to Newcastle, and is expected to be despatched on the 20th inst.: i __ The Union Company's s.s. Wellington will arrive here this forenoon from Dunedin and Lyttelton, and sail again for the North in the afternoon. All claims against the ship Avalanche in respect to inward cargo must be rendered to Messrs. AV. and G. Turnbull and Co. before Tuesday, 9th inst.-
