The Town of Halcombe Suburban Sections of- Halcombe About 4000 acres of rural land, adjacent to Feilding and Halcombe. The Town and Suburbs of Halcombe are situated on the main Railway line between Wanganui and Foxton, which is completed throhgh. Feilding to within four miles of Halcombe and when finished will complete the connection between Wanganui and Foxton. These lands have been open for eight months to bona fide residents only, and now contain a population of over 400. With the exception of a small part of the Town, which is light bush, the whole of the Town and Suburban Lauds are rich dry fern and flax land, and as will be seen by the sale plans, the adjacent country is being opened up by roads converging on the Railway Stations. Theßural Lands are subdivided into sections, varying from 40 to 500 acres, they are all easily accessible to the Railway line, and some of them contain very valuable timber. The upset prices placed upon the land offered for sale are, with the exception of the Suburban Sections at Halcombe, less than have been realised by sales of the lands adjacent.
