The Town of Halcombe Suburban Sections of Halcombe About 4000 acres of rural land, adjacent to Feilding and Halcombe. The Town and Suburbs of Halcombe are situated on the main Railway line between Wanganui, and Foxton, which is completed through Feilding to within four miles of Hale °mbe and . when finished will complete the connection between Wanganui and Foxton. These lands have been open for eight months to bona fide residents only, and now contain a population of over 400. With the exception of a small part of the Down, which is light bush, the whole of the I’own and Suburban Lands are rich dry fern and flax land, and as will be seen by the sale plans, the adjacent country is being opened xp by roads converging on the Railway Stations.
