In colonial produce keg butter is quite neglected, and we hear of no sales.. Holders quote 9Jd to lod per lb for'primo cure : cheese is in full stock at 7d to 8d per lb, for, Canterbury make; hams and bacon in demand, and-rather scarce at lojd per lb, for best brands of Canterbury. At auction yesterday Mr. R. J. Duncan sold 8 cases at 9Jd to 9|d per lb. Flour is easier, and cannot be quoted higher.than £l6 to £l6los for Oamaru and Canterbury mills, in sacks; oats dull at 3s to 3s 3d per bushel, for milling sorts ; ordinary feeding oats are -worth 2s 6d to 2s 9d per bushel; maize, scarce at Es per bushel; potatoes (new), £6 per ton. Cows brought from £7l2s 6d to £8 3s: yearling steers, £5 15s to £6 7s 6d;: yearlings, £3losto£3 17s 6d ; calves, £2los; working bullocks, £l7 10s per pair. \ , DUNEDIN, Friday. Wheat, -none offering; prime samples would command 6s to 6s 6d. Oats meet with ready sale at 2s 2d to 2s 3d for goodjo, prime.feed, and up,to 2s 4d for milling. been'in improved demand, at 2s 6d to 3s for good feed and milling; malting samples are difficult to quit at 45., the price held for.
